British Sign Language or as abbreviated to be commonly recognised as BSL, is an expressive yet engaging visual means of communication using gestures, facial expression and body language.
Inspiration into the BSL Fingerspelling Game was drawn from the concept of generating a positive influence through raising awareness into the communication barriers/seclusion of the deaf community in the experience of the pandemic and encourage the general public to reach out as a companion.
The objective of the website is solely focused on offering an invitation to visitors and users alike either with a vested interest or to explore a new hobby by seeking an educational opportunity. The hope is to provide a welcoming key to open the door towards a personal accomplishment or goal in learning to gain new knowledge and skills.

Instructions
Overview
The purpose into this game is to test your memory matching skills and abilities so that you can learn how to fingerspell as a basic knowledge into BSL.
How to play
- Pick a level ranging from easy, medium & hard to determine how slow or fast a speed you can manage.
- A series of images will be displayed which you have to observe of a sign in the form of hands and this represents an alphabet.
- As this is a memory matching game, you have cognitively pair up the images against the letter to form a word.
- Once the last sign has been shown, you will be given an opportunity to guess the word by inputting into a text box below the series of images being shown. English alphabetic letters will only be accepted.
- A reference point will also be provided should you find yourself struggling to remember what the sign represents.
- You will be timed from the moment of the first of a series of images that is displayed per word.
- There is also an opportunity to replay the series of images shown to review the sign prior to giving your answer.
